Well.........at last nights EESA General Meeting we got the go ahead for a Spring 3 gun match.

Date: April 15th and 16th.

Due to the fact that these matches take quite a bit of time to shoot I am only going to have 3 squads on the Saturday and 6 on the Sunday. This will allow us to finish setup in the Morning of the Saturday and perhaps get an R/O or two through some of the stages.

Squads should be 10 people or so.

I am still working on the stage designs but rest assured we will be looking at a minimum of

4 indoor handgun stages.
3 rifle
3 shotgun

( more likely there will be 4 of each).

Count on about 75 rds handgun., 50-70 rifle. 20 slugs, and 50 birdshot.

Anyway.............It will certainly be a fun time for all concerned.

I will have more details as things progress. Right now I am concentrating on the L2 Feb 18th and 19th.

Oh look at my other thread for the School Support Match.

Will one squad shoot all of the stages on Day 1 or do you need to stay over to shoot on the Sunday?

Also do you plan any "social" events for Saturday night?

Shooting should take only a morning or afternoon so there is no need to stay overnight.

As for "social" events? Well that will have to remain to be seen. Nothing official is planned as of now.

####!!

Is that Easter weekend??

Being non-religious I do keep track of these things.........

I might have to move that date if people complain.

What would Jesus shoot..??

I am also concerned with the MUD!

Dropped by the club on my way home this afternoon and ..............ahem.

Its a tad ............slippery!

I forgot that we had not planted grass on the 100m in the fall so it is a mudpit.....

Don't forget, Orthodox easter is the week after the other one.
There are a few Orthodox IPSC shooters that I know.

I'd still come anyways :)

Well I will still hold it if people want.......

The Mrs will be a little P.O'd but I take it as an advantage as I will not have to take a day off work on the Friday to set up...
