T-shirts who wants em, and cost?
Date change to the July 15, 16 (Main shoot) and 17th
This is by no means Exhaustive, and may well be added too, if we find discrepancies. Mainly, we want this to be a fun and enjoyable experience for all, while maintaining the utmost safety. As this will be EESA's first attempt at a 3 Gun match, there may be growing pains, but we have a wealth of experience on board to help us along the way.
Rules:
1 Dropped loaded firearm = Disqualification – No exceptions
2 When transitioning Firearms, chamber must be empty, magazines dumped, and action locked open.
3 Unsafe gun handling = Disqualification 180 Degree Rule
4 Unsportsmanlike conduct = Disqualification
5 Premature shot in the holster or striking behind the firing line or into the ground down range within 2 metres of firing line = Disqualification and any uncontrolled shot that poses a safety issue such as rounds leaving the designated shoot area will also result in disqualification. Muzzle of all firearms must never be pointed in an unsafe direction
6 Firearms may only be loaded on command of RO’s.
7 During the loading, unloading, drawing, re-holstering, while moving, or during a re-medial action, fingers must be outside of the trigger guard and the muzzle must be pointed down range
8 After completing any course of fire shooter must unload, show clear, and re-holster before turning up range or leaving the firing line
9 During the match shooters not firing will refrain from handling firearms except at designated safe areas, or while under the supervision of an RO
10 Magazines and speed loaders may be loaded while off the firing line, but no live ammo is to be handled in the safe area
11 Eye and ear protection must be worn while on any active range
Equipment:
Holsters:
No race Holsters allowed. Ideally the holster should have some form of retention, as you will be performing rigorous physical activity, and any loaded firearm that falls out of the holster will be a match DQ. Ultimately, the competitor is responsible for his and others safety, but the Match Officials have the final say as far as safety of themselves and the competitors!
Slings:
There is no requirement for a competitor to have a sling attached to the carbine/rifle or shotgun. All longs guns will be staged at certain areas, and the competitor will transition firearms at these staging areas. If you want a sling, by all means go ahead, but the firearms will not be slung during the course of fire.
Safety Flags:
Carbines/Rifles and Shotguns will have safety flags inserted into the receiver/chamber area at all times, other than when it is being used in a course of fire.
Divisions:
Open:
Any of the three firearms has an Optic will place the competitor in Open division. We will accept 9mm and up for Handgun, 9mm and up for carbine, and 20 gauge and up for Shotgun
Standard:
No firearm shall have an Optic, or speed loading devices, maximum of 9 rounds total loaded in the shotgun at the start signal. We will accept 9mm and up for handgun, 9mm and up for Carbine and 20 gauge and up for Shotgun
Other:
There will be a “Zombie Sniper Rifle” available for competitor use at one of the stages. If a competitor wants to bring and use their own rifle, that is fine, there will be targets set up out to 300 yards, so be prepared to shoot that distance, and nothing bigger than .50 Cal please!
We will also be doing a low light stage indoors, a flashlight will be available for competitor use, but if you have your own system, you are more than welcome to use it.
AR 15 LAR mags are pretty much the norm for carbine firearms, if you are running an SKS, CZ 858,
Garand, M14 etc.....well, sucks to be you!
