Well noon was interesting today. I work from home so I can use my lunchtime to do some stuff.
Well I went to pick up some groceries and saw 6 deer in a field on the way back, stopped to look at them with binocs, one of them was a nice 6 pointer, deer season is over for me so I went back home, grabbed the the marlin .22 with some CCI long shells and went to walk the rabbit snare line. No rabbits this time, but I was lucky enough to see 3 grouse and got to shoot one of them!! I missed it the first shot, that .22 is sighted too high, but the grouse ust stayed on the electric line where it was, gotta love those quiet .22 rounds eh. Second connected solid in the chest with a complete pass through, she still was able to fly to a pine and fell a few seconds after!
I'll slow cook it onight with some deer sausages, oignons and salsa, dinner sure looks nicer now
back to work now...
