Does anyone use a rifled choke and what is the effectiveness? I have a super x2 that is drilled and tapped. A scope and rifled choke is much cheaper than a scope and cantilevered barrel. Just doing some research before parting with the money.

Thanks

well I got a model 120/1300 bastard winchester with rifled choke. true glo "stick on sites" and have consistantly(haha) taken deer up to 100 yards. I get a 3" group at 50 yards I use federal (cheap ones) sabot slugs. DO NOT USE THE ONES THAT SAY FOR RIFLED BARREL ONLY. the deers. in my sig line was shot with it.
I am planning on moving up to a fully rifled gun for better accuracy out to 150 yards

Oh and there is a thread somewhere where Bigred says that the rifling normally gets choked up with plastic residue after a handfull of shots. This affects accuracy.
