Make sure they include the hardware with the base. I recently bought a 20 moa base for my Howa and it did not come with mounting hardware. It was the last one instock from my local dealer and 0 moa bases use different hardware (all 4 the same length, vs 2 long ones for 20 moa) On top of that, you cant use standard flat based 6-48 screws, EGW uses a tapered seat. I emailed them and they gave me the run around even though it says right one the box that hardware is included and on the site it says they supply missing hardware free of charge. He tried telling me they make the Howa bases exclusively for Legacy Sports and do not sell them themselves. BS, theyre listed on EGWs website. He told me to have my dealer order the hardware from Legacy or I could pay for the shipping for him to send me the hardware for the base I already paid for and was supposed to include hardware. My local dealer is a stand up guy and dug all over town until he found a set that would work from a local gunsmith and gave them to me for free. Just be sure that the base you buy comes with hardware. They will be in a little pink or clear bag on the front of the package.
