Im looking for a EGW Savage 93 (1 5/8 Ejection Port) Tactical Picatinny Mount seller in canada. To mount on a savage 93r17 tr. Found some on ebay. But seller will not ship to canada.

I don't have an answer for you, so I shouldn't chime-in on your thread. I did almost by the TRR model and will admit...the coolness-factor of that rail was a big part of it. I went up to Epps to have a look at one in the flesh, and backed-away from the whole idea. It's allot bigger than I was expecting (mostly in width), sharp around the edges, and would (in my estimation) make off-hand shots all but impossible.

All that aside, I would try Epps as an option to see if they can get them. My impression is that they move allot of Savage stuff. They may have some sway.

Almost ordered a trr-sr, but the only real difference was the rail system on it, for 200$ more. So i decided to go with the tr and put a sinple single rail on it.

I think the DIP rail looks nicer and it has a cut-out making it easier to single load. Don't know of anyone in Canada that sells them though.

I don't think they charge that much. I got mine few months back , tho I can't recall how much exactly , it was reasonable for me to buy one

i got over 10 off them and each time was $30.00 but 0 of them where in the last 6 months

I don't recall what I paid a few years ago but it came in a small envelope and was likely the typical " I can't believe how cheap US postal is" reaction.

I would have remembered $30 but maybe things have changed....only one way to find out.

EGW will ship directly.

P&D (check the banner at the top) stock a decent line of the EGW stuff.

EGW can do custom cuts, P&D will get it to you alot quicker (waited about five weeks for mine from EGW).


And yes, EGW charges $30 priority USPS.

Thanks will try to order direct. Was wondering with the new US exportation laws, most retailers will just say " we cannot ship to canada" and read this then they give you a link.
