After my second session at the range, all things going well - one of the pieces of brass failed to eject, it was simply stuck in the chamber. After quick inspection: extractor was stuck, and ready to pop off, little movement reseated the ball, spring and extractor. This allowed me to get the brass out, but upon further analysis, of the bolt, I have noticed ejector was either pushed back in or broken off.

Adrian, where did you get that stock? got any 'hookups' for moi? haha

The rifle looks awesome man, we should meetup soon as I'm going to be gone in April and hit up the range together. I'm sure I could pickup a few things(hints/tips) from you about shooting and whatnot.

My friedn had the same problem with his 10fp... He was using facory ammo like winchester and federal.. It began with a hard to open bolt and continue to a stuck case... He send it back for checking.. the gunsmith in charge of the rifle told him that everything was ok with his rifle that he had shot about 60 rounds it without problem.. But when the rifle came back.. My friend was pretty surprised taht they had completly changed the bolt face with the extractor... So to make short we dont actually know what was wrong but surely had to do with the extrator...

The chamber in these new 10fp's are tight and pressure even with factory loads can be high. Both mine and my friends did the same as yours when gas passed around the primer. His extractor pin came free but mine was flared around the retaining pin and I had to drill it out.

Thanks, I am probably going to take it for warranty, since its less then 3 months old.
Ammo was handloaded ; Win cases, 45gr of Varget w/ 155gr Nosler CustomCompetition, no issues in the last range session or in my previous 10FP. But upon closer inspection of my brass, primer pockets seemed looser then normal.

Bart, its the 10fp Mcmillan, so I splurged a little, not just a stock swap. My other 10FP has a B&C Medalist (which I think you have as well).

Ahhh, I see. Great purchase then. I thought you just got a new stock but new rifle itself.

Hope this all gets squared away for you man :)

Buy a new extractor from Fred @ sharp shooters supply. They'll ship it 2 your door. Just call them and tell them you want the steel extractor. I replaced mine and it works perfect in my 10fp.
