so I got my Lakefield mkII to the range on a weekend and I had some ejection problems, pretty much more than half the time the gun failed to eject, I was using Americal Eagel ammo

is the ejector f****? was it the ammo? or do I need to clean the s**** out of the gun?

just got the gun put together, the ejector looks new (to my eye) the extractor seems bit iffy (specially on one side where it looks like someone filed the bolt a bit)

it just might not like the rims on the AE rounds. i know my extractor has a hard time with lapua rims. hard time as in it takes a lot more muscle to move the bolt up after the shot than most other rounds. if AE doesn't shoot any better than the ammo that does extract well, then it shouldn't be a problem, though if it effects most other brands then its probably the extractor. or maybe its a lakefield quirk.

I've seen a lakefield with crud built up under the extractors, Took the spring clip off, remover the extractors, cleaned and reassembled and the rifle worked perfect after that.

Try that first....
