So I squeeze off my Last shot of my first group of a load I'm working on.
Pull the bolt back and the case is still sitting on the bolt face held in by the extractor.
Took all of the next group for me to investigate, and my ejector pin is missing.
Rifle is a Savage model 111.
My questions are do I have to disassemble the entire bolt before I punch the retainer pin out? (remove firing pin)
Can anyone point me to where I can buy the replacement ejector pin and spring?
I'm in GVRD

Edit: I tore down the entire bolt and the ejector is still there. It is recessed and stuck in the hole (after punching retainer pin out) my guess is broken spring? I can't get the ejector to come out...

Here is a trick that sometimes works for stuck plunger ejectors:
Hold the bolt head securely in a padded vise. Apply penetrating oil.
Use a punch, and a light hammer, and lightly and rapidly tap on the face of the ejector.
You don't want to drive it into the bolt head, just vibrate it. Or, hold a vibrating engraver against the ejector.
You may see the ejector walk right up out of its hole.

my ejector in my model 11 looks broken off, I am quite disappointed in it, it ends well below the surface of the bolt, I have made enquiries about buying one from western gun parts, where did you get yours? This savage is a bit delicate, I am used to mausers, I am spoiled.
