Just like the title, 303 Loaded rounds pull back with the extractor but they do not eject, this was the first time I loaded ammo in this firearm to check it's functions before I fired it, I have never fired it yet. I pulled the bolt out and to the best of my knowledge there is something missing from what I could find of some of the website and blown up views of this P-14 No3.
Does anyone have any easier to view or read blown up views of this type of firearm????, and remember, I'm very new to this and not experienced at taking firearms apart to repair them so please think like a Newbie when you reply, Thanks in advance!!!!!

Did you pull the bolt back with some authority? It's designed for abuse, give it a good reef back and see what happens.
Baring that, could be the ejector spring is broken......

Yah it is hard for me to tell, maybe if someone has some clear pictures, that most likely help me out, I have similar exploded views on my computer but they are so unclear to the untrained person it makes it tough to figure out if something is missing or broken. Anyway thanks Hitzy for your effort!!!!

Yup. The ejector is a weak part in an otherwise great design. It is a flat plate that sticks into the body of the action and rides in a slot on the left lug. The force to move it into position is a thin 1/2" finger that is bent away from the rest of the plate. They break easily. Strip the bolt stop off (one screw) and look for loose pieces or no finger.

Yah I checked the the flat ejector plate that moves in & out, there is nothing driving it outwords which I'm guessing must be the missing spring because there were no other moving parts there!!!

Ejector spring

It is a fairly common and easy way to fix this weakness by fitting a small coil spring. You file two small notches in the ejector (on the side that faces outward) that a small coil spring will fit over. They do not have to be too deep, just enough to keep the coil spring from moving.

Many gunsmiths will do this modification to the ejector when making a custom rifle with this action.

I see you are in Alberta. Try Western Gun Parts in Edmonton. Numrich may not ship to you because of the change in gun laws.

Getting more pricey every day...

Actualy as Buffdog said , it fairly easy to fix, especialy of you have a moto tool with an abrasive disc. Be sure to make the cuts near the front of the ejector body. I used the spring from a ball point pen cut to length.
