EL PASO WEAVER'S anybody with experiance getting them repaired?

Anybody here with experience getting one of these fixed. My understanding is that they have a lifetime warranty, and it is jus a matter of sending the thing in.
Is this true? Any complications at the border?
Any help will be appreciated

The current Weavers have a lifetime warranty limited to the original owner. If the old Weavers from the El Paso days had a lifetime warranty, I think it ran out when the life of the orginal Weaver company ran out. The name and rights were sold and have been resold at least twice that I am aware of. I'm sure the new owners didn't take on previous warranty obigations.

Trace Scope repairs has done a couple of jobs for me. Good work, reasonable price.
