Elcan c79 onSG542 Chilean rifle

Has anyone installed Elcan c79 on sg542 with rail ? If so does it work ok for height etc Also are you using 308 or 7.62 Nato suplus?

It will be drastically too high, and you’ll need a cheekpiece to get anything kind of weld to the stock. I run Hirtenberger in mine. Cases are ejected about 40 feet downrange, and are not reloadable.

40 ft unreal Do you like your firearm Ejection sounds dangerous I assume a Leupold ar 1 to 4 mod scope with AR mount would be same problem I see some pics of the gun with scopes mounted and no cheekpiece Wonder if the use just low rings and regular scope/

Not only will cheek weld be crazy with the C79, but the BDC reticle wont function for #### even if its the 7.62 model as you will have a different height over bore than intended.

Do you know what mount and if Leupold scope 1 inch tube mod 1 ar scope- will work with different mounts I see pics of the gun with scopes mounted on them ?
