I'm trying to understand the reticle and the zeroing process.
No, I don't have one in front of me. The more detail the better. Thanks
for your time.

Not much to know. Flip up the little silver "gate" at the back of the dial. Now your scope is adjustable in minutes of angle(basically). Each notch you move =1" at 100m. Zero as per usual. Now you have choices. Once zeroed at 200 if you drop the gate and are shooting something similar to SS109 the BDC "should" be pretty close. If you prefer to be more accurate, leave the gate up and mark the dial notches with a paint pen or liquid paper or something for each distance you zero at. For SR we zero all the way back to 500m and run it open gate. The windage is also moa. Paint pen your zero on both the frame and the dial so that if you dial off for wind you know where to come back to.
Use the tip of the pick to aim. If you can fit 1/2 a man between the stadia lines on the right he's 300m away. If you can fit all of him in between he's roughly 600m away.
