Elcan scope on M14

There are better scopes for less money - the glass is great, but the have been issues with them failing to hold zero, that and the low power for the money, is why you don't see a whole bunch out here - you can get a great low powered variable for the same money. One that doesn't rely on the mount to set the zero.

In addition, an Elcan would be ridiculously high above the bore on an M14, as the integral mount is designed for the M16/AR15 family.

I would second the recommendation of the Accupoint. It can do everything an Elcan can without the negatives and with the added bonus of varible magnification.
