Hey guys. I was doing some maintenance on my rifles the other day, and had my Elcan off. Upon reinstalling I relized it had a slight wobble, I assume the Arms mounts are the culprit. I have done some looking around the nets and it looks like the newer models have some tweeks and you can send in old elcans for a tune up.

I have seen people on these forums mention which company to contact for help and can't seem to find it anymore!

Can someone help me out with the contact info!

Thanks in advance!

I think ARMS sells replacement levers that are adjustable - saw a guy on Calguns say the swap was easy and cost $40. You're looking for MkII levers.

My OS4x fits perfect on some of my guns, but waaay too loose on others. I wish they came with adjustable levers originally!

You can also contact Armament Technologies in NS, as I believe they are the distributor. tel: (902) 454-6384

ARMS levers are what the original contract requested and yes they will come loose if you install/remove the optic too many times. I'm sure they will service/replace the mounts for you.

It is, but I did get a smoking deal on the ee for it, and none of the problems were apparent at the time of purchase. For the deal I got on it, I should be able to get it repaired and have it professionally refinished to look like the rare factory FDE models.

It must be kind of annoying to have problems like that with an optic that costs that much... Hopefully they take care of your issues!

It is very annoying and the reason I've stopped running Elcans. I've Had 3 all BNIB that I bought for $1500 a piece which is a steel of a deal but I had issues with all of them over time.

Had a chat with a guy from Armament Technologies yesterday, we discused the mount first, and he informed me that the scope was made to wiggle and actually has some sort of spring tension between the mount and the scope itself, and that all Specter DR's can be wiggled ever so slightly side to side.

We then talked about electronics, and even though they only offer a 3 year warranty, they will do there best to cover me as I bought it used, and am fairly certain its 3+yrs old. I will report back how service goes!
