Does anyone have any information as to when the Elcan Specter will be sold to the public or why it is taking so long for this scope to be offered for sale? Thank you for the information.
 
on ar15.com a dealer there was hoping to get his hands on them by end of june.

my guess is they need to work out a few bugs and gear up for production.

love to try one, if only i had $1500 lying around............

I have them on order, but was told 30-60 days just a wek ago, and that didn't seem to certain. All production is currently being directed to mil units.

I think he is refering to the Thermal/Infrared capable Spectre Weapon Sight.IIRC, that is around $12,000.00.

There are several optical sights in the Spectre line.

The sight in question is around the $1500.00 mark.

He said it will be 1400ish last time I talk to him. He is willing to trade ACOG for them. He need them for sales tools.
 
excuse my ignorance guys, but this just looks like a souped up C79 with the option to switch to red dot. i like the idea but would this really work, with having eye relief for the 1X option?


what makes it better than the ACOG's?

Ah...yes indeed I meant the IR, didn't notice the "D"R at the end of the title.:redface: How are the mounts on dem dere Elcan's now, any issues with the newer 4th gen monts or did they pretty much fix the problems?
 
at SWFA in Texas is listed for $1445 us, I am not sure if they have any instock yet, but I will be down in california in about 2 week, I will check it out, that look really Wicket Ass Kicking Optic.
