Electro penciled question

Hi,
I bought an SKS Tula 54 non refurbed and I noticed few electro penciled in few places such as gas tube and butt plate.
I understand the gas tube is so tiny that would be impossible to stamp in there but on the butt plate ?

Did the seller sold me a refurbed as a non refurbed ?

that sounds force matched to me. I am admittedly a rookie, but I have been doing some research on this because I want an 8mm mauser.

pretty sure there is no electro pencilling on stock, out of the box surplus rifles.

The gas tube & piston are electro-penciled & that is NOT a sign of refurbishment AFAIK.

First time I have heard of the butt plate being electro penciled... Weird!

One of my non-refurbished 1955 Tulas has an electropenciled butt plate. Not very common, but not a sign of refurbishment either.
