Lyman DPS3 all the way. It's as fast as I can accurately seat with a single stage press and the auto repeat function works great. It was about $80 cheaper than the RCBS but that was NOT the reason for choosing it over the green machine. I use a lot of RCBS stuff, but for this tool I think the Lyman is the SAFER machine. If there's any possibility of errors to the high side (overthrowing charges) I don't want it - might as well be hand weighing. Finding the Lyman consistent to within 1 or 2 granules of most of the extruded powders we use, and that's less than a tenth of a grain. Still measure every 5th load or so, but every 10th looks like it's more than enough.
Past & present the majority of my reloading equipment has been RCBS & Lyman. I think for the most part, the choice between the two is similar to 'Chev & Ford'. Probably very comparable from a technical level, again, more just a matter of personal choice or preference.
When I decided to start upgrading some of my equipment, for a powder weighing/dispensing unit, I opted for the RCBS 1500 ChargeMaster Combo over the Lyman 1200 DPS II Digital Powder System. However, the latest item on the list was a case trimmer and there I went for the Lyman Universal vs the RCBS Trim Pro.
Again, the brand choice to me doesn't really matter, six of one or a half dozen of the other. I do admit, I tend to lean a little towards RCBS as I have found there to be one significant difference in dealing with the two Co.'s. Customer service. As example, when I bought a new RCBS RC IV press there was a slight problem with the primer seater. Their speedy response once notified by a 1-800 call was to send a whole new primer arm with a large & small primer seating set up. No questions no charge.

With my Lyman Case Trimmer, now that I've recently purchased a 348 Winchester model 71, I attempted to find the required pilot. Nothing along that way available in local shops so, I e-mailed Lyman's customer service dept. They have what I require although it isn't listed in their catalog but without going into great detail, I'm on my fourth e-mail and third 1-800 call attempt and so far, I'm still waiting for a definative answer on how & when I'll be able to obtain one.

I have no doubt that eventually I'll get one, the process just seems to be a little lengthier than what I've experienced with RCBS.
