Electronic Powder Scale Advice?

I picked up a Dillon D-Terminator. Despite the goofy name, it does the job rather nicely.Runs on 4 AA (included) or AC adapter (included).

With the USD to CAD conversion rate... you can never be wrong with PACT BBK for $89.95 US. it operates both in AC-DC power. I highly recommend this baby.

Yeah, the PACT BBK will be cheaper than the Dillon D-Terminator for sure. XE's exchange rate calculator puts it at about $99 CDN, plus whatever you end up paying for shipping and duty will still come out less than a D-Terminator bought locally (About $205 IIRC).

the Chargemaster 1500 is awesome...simply awesome.

But the chargemaster just dumps the powder out into a dish on your scale, right?

I'm sure it's 100% accurate, but sounds not as convenient as a powder measure that's integrated into the press. If you're loading one case at a time for rifles, it'd be fine, but if you're cranking out pistol ammo, it might suck having to dump the powder in by hand every time. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm totally curious about it.

Still, I see why folks would drool over it.

I used a few different ones. Finally settled on RCBS Rangemaster 750. It is just as accurate as my RCBS 505. The price is reasonable as well.

yes, the CM 1500 dispenses powder and you have to then funnel it into a case. it is not part of a automatic process...

I have the chargemaster and it is super, checked it against an $8,000 balance at work and it is right on. Fast accurate and convenient, hard to believe how I lived without it before.
