Thanks for all the input on devoys guys, I have a plywood 3D design in mind.
How about electronic callers? Are they necessary? What works and is affordable?
How about DIY with an mp3 or similar? What y'all using?

I'm seeing DIY designs for around $100, based on an MP3 player.
Seems more like my price range!
