Eley force

So I did check the eley site and it is quite good, your numbers are very close to what I saw for my lot. Surprised they advertise 1250 and my lot numbers averaged 1170

The lot average may be 1170 fps in the Eley rifle(s) used for Eley's test results. The lot average may be different in your particular rifle. The only way to know what the average MV will be in your rifle is to chronograph the ammo yourself.

Or just adjust speed in calculator for actual adjustments at known distances. If I get to 350 today i can probably have a real good idea

So the eley lot analysed was way off for.me lol. Had almost 100fps over which three my adjustments over 2.5 moa out at 200. My bushnell app had me at 23.5 moa at 200 and the actual was 18.3 moa. This velocity with all other info from the analyzer puts me at 1270 fps at the muzzle. Very accurate at 200, with flat groups and far less wind adjustment compared to SK standard plus. In one 5 shot groupe 3 were touching and 2 an inch away, wind slowed. This ammo is very nice in my cz 455, but not cheap at 120 per brick

The lesser wind drift for the Eley Force ammo is attributable to the heavier 42 grain bullet. It might sound counter-intuitive, but a standard velocity 40 grain bullet has less wind drift than a high velocity 40 grain .22LR bullet.

The sk.std + grouped tighter at 50 yards but not by much, the 100 and 200 it fell right apart and had a lot of vertical stringing, the eley grouped great with less horizontal and alot less vertical. Saved 2.5 moa in adjustment and grouped better, how can I go wrong.
