A cheap ambi safety option. Push button safety isn't a new concept and we've lived with it for how many decades. New for an AR platform but what say you guys? Pass or fail?

On a service rifle or one used in the field, I have never cared for push buttons.

Yeah, the 45* safety is heads and tales the best safety upgrade you can get for an Ar15 safety.

I think its a good idea. First I've seen for an AR; though I haven't dug very deep. Would make the AR more familiar for some. I might try one out one day...

If I build another lower, I'd give it a go for sh!tz & giggles.

For a comp gun that is only shot by the right hand always, I can see that this is faster than a lever with more consistent thumb positioning.

Vastly slower to put back on safe, which is a big problem for a competitive 3gun shooter.
