Elite 3-10x40 or Revolution 4-12x40 ?

Local store has both of these on sale right now. Going on a .270 Savage 116

Bushnell Elite 3-10x40mm (E3104) $310
Redfield Revolution 4-12x40mm (67110) $250

Probably splitting hairs on this one, but anyone who has field input or thoughts it would be appreciated.

I just shopped for an inexpensive hunting scope and bought a e3940 from frontier $279 with a $70 rebate, there are some old elites out there and the new models have a few extras like argon purging and better coatings, frontiers are the newer models! Good price and good reviews for what it is! I do not know anything about the redfields! Good luck!

I have both. Only think I don`t like about the 4-12x40 revolution is I find the reticule is a bit blurry at 10-30 yards compaired to the bushnell. I have three 4-12 revolutions, One on my .22-250, 17hmr and 220 slug gun. I also have 3 elites so I like them both LOL
