Elite 3200 10x40?

I have one and it's very nice. However, I haven't used it yet so I guess my comment doesn't mean a hell of a lot:D However, all the feedback from others has been very positive!

These are outstanding scopes. The only flaw is the lack of a paralax adjustment for closer range work. I find that from 25 yards to 60 ish yards that the image is a bit blurred. The retical thickness is thin enough for serious target work and still thick enough to pick up on darker backgrounds. The mil dots work excellent for ranging and hold overs. 80 minutes of adjustment means you wont run out of elevation even for a thousand yards. No need for a sloped base. Very audible and positive clicks, resettable zero. Can't say enough good things about them.

They are great value... I looked at one in the store yesterday and it is awesome glass for the money. It would be a good scope for a mid-long range varminter or big game rifle.

Don't buy ONE !! No sireee, Bob!

Buy TWO of them....... That's what a great deal they are!! Buy yourself also a Butler Creek Flip-up cover(s) # 14 EYE and # 28 Objective, now you are ready to rock!!

just put one on my AR180B & love it, for the money I won't go back to buying cheap scopes.
I also put a 3200, 3x9x50 on my kids .308 & he shoots 100% better than with his old cheap scope.

Bar none the best bang for the buck, I am very surprised these scopes are still this cheap.

Still using mine & very satisfied like Steve David just said...For me, it is more of a beginer scope until I can afford more $$ optics.

The scope will be for a T/C Encore .300 Win mag.I'm still deciding ?

Mine needs to go back for warranty repair. Brand new too. Damn thing hangs up and can't be trusted for elevation. Its OK if I go one direction but has hung over 10 moa before it snaps back into place after firing a few times.

Anyone else had the 10X 3200 hang up?

Love the big turrets though, easy to use and easy to see. Great scope for a rifle that doesn't shoot below 1/2", those rifles deserve a more powerful scope IMO.

If you are going to be doing any close range shoooting (100 or 150 yards) with your .300, sometimes the wider field of view is good to have, such as a 3-9 or a 2.5x10. Even a 4-12 or 5-15 would work. I think the 10x40 would work great as a Varmint scope, but for close in big game work I would look at getting a smaller power range.

I have 2 bushnell 3200s. I have a 3-9x40 on my 7mm Rem mag and am very happy with that set up. I also have a 5-15 on one of my .22's. Am happy with both.

JMHO

Then I should just stick with BIGREDDS 1st suggestion and go with a Burris.

The first one I bought I had to return it because I could not adjust the reticle once the rings were tightenend, the second one I got works fine now, no problems with it after about 100 rounds on my 700P in 762x51
