Elite 3200 3X9 50 firefly

I am planning to get a new scope for my rem 700 30-06. I hunt deer and I need a new scope. For now I have a cheap bushnell 3X9. What do you think of the Elite 3200 3X9 50 firefly. Any other suggestions? I dont whant to spend more then 350$

Lots of guys like the Bushnell Elite line, but one complaint I often hear about the Firefly line is that the reticle is really thick. I dunno for sure, I've never looked through one, but I've heard that many shooters would prefer something with a little finer cross-hair.

Yeah, it is fairly thick,but it does not seem all that intrusive to me. A friend of mine has a 4200 firefly on his .338, and at last light,it works as advertized.

it is a really thick reticle, but for big game it shouldnt be a problem.
