Anyone use an Elite 3200 2-7x32 on a .22? I was wondering about the closer shots and if it would be accurate. I need a scope for the CZ 452 that I have coming and have been trying to figure out what to use. It will be primarily used for hunting but, lately, I'm been getting more into the range mode. If you use one of these on your gun, I'd appreciate some comments on your experience with it.

If the parallax is adjustable or set to 50m you should be fine with that scope (no experience with it).

Myself, I think scopes on .22lrs are overkill ;) the drop at 100m is too great, but, scoped .22lr's are good for shooting flies at 50m :D

Norm99 I'm in the market for a CZ 452 American as well. Keep us informed as to it's accuracy and which scope you end up with. As I get older a scope becomes essential for me. I love accurate guns and IMHO a scope will show a rifle's true potential as a tack driver or no.

I have a 2-7x32mm Elite on my heavy Barreled 10/22 it works great. I've made shots from 10-100m with no parallax problems and it shoots 1/2" groups at 50m. If your eye is alligned properly parallax won't be a problem with this scope. The quick focus eyepiece helps too.

That's great, that's exactly what I was hoping someone would say. After reading so much about the parallax issue, I was afraid it might be a problem. It really is a lovely little scope and like you say, the quick focus is a bonus. Did you zero your scope in a 50m?

Bat, picked the gun up at G&T Sports. They threw in the 10rd Mag with the gun. Check them out.

Yeah. Mine's zeroed at 50m. It has about an 8" drop at 100m, which allows me to use the wide portion of the reticle as an aiming mark at that distance.

I have a 3200 4-12 with the Ballistic reticle on my CZ452. Mounted in Burris Deluxe high rings, it is a perfect fit. Just enough clearance over the barrel to get the lenscap on. Shoots PowerPoints into 3/8" - 1/2" groups at 50yds with boring regularity. The first stadia line down on the reticle is pretty much dead on at 100.

I have a Bushnell Banner 3x9 on top of a CZ 452 Lux, clearance for the scope is a bit tight with the rear sight, but it shoots very well.

Well, I plan to put my Bushnell Elite 4200 6x24 AO mildot reticle scope on whatever rimfire I buy next. If my Cooey model 60 was drilled and tapped for a scope it would probably already be sitting on there. :D

I have an older B&L 6-24 AO on my Brno, with Lynx rings it's a bit tight, at full magnification the bolt handle touches the 'nub' on the power ring and won't fully retract, but it's easy enough to turn down the power. It does look a little different when the scope is a lot longer than the receiver, and is just plain silly with the sunshade.

Well, she's not wearing an Elite, but here she is....Arrived today and I get to try her out tomorrow. If this doesn't hook my son, ....nothing will.

Great looking gun! Does the scope have to sit that high to clear the bolt and/or the ejected casings though? Closer to the bore is better and it makes it possible to get a solid cheek weld, but we don't always have a choice.

I have a junky Cooey Model 60 because that was the rifle that my dad used to get me hooked. :D

It has a 1/4 inch clearance when the bolt is up. I don't think medium rings would have cleared it. I don't like the high scope either, but it really does feel comfortable. In addition, my neck is a little stiff from arthritis, so I don't mind not bending down.:)
