Just purchased a elite 4200 tactical 6x24 and when sighted in at 100 yards dead center I move up 4 Moa when I shoot it's actually moved up 5.25 Moa I have tried this at yardages to 300plus and always is 1 Moa higher that what I set at even from zero at 300 yards come up required amount from ballistics program and am 1 Moa high (3 plus inches at300 yards) am I missing something here or is this new scope hooched. I've also done it with different bullets put of this 243 and always one Moa out but tracks perfectly back

You say "new scope"?
Dealer bought?
If so, maybe the dealer will exchange it for another new one
and save you the hassle of sending it in Bushnell for warranty.
The 4200's do offer a lifetime warranty.
Cost would be ten plus ten for sending it in though.

I was aware Bushnell made scopes, but I did not know anyone bought them...

What a uselss comment.

Try shooting a box at 100 yards. Get a large backing for a target and setup a tracking box and try it through the range of adjustments.

Shoot centre, dial up 10 moa (10 inches) try again return to zero after every time.

Or try shooting a ruler. Start centre and dial up 1 moa after each shot. Hold the same point of aim and just keep dialing up 1 moa after each shot.

Check out a few different tracking drills off the snipershide or similar website and give it a shot to see if your scope is tracking right.

Have tried tracking this scope at 100 and at three hundred with 58 grain barnes coyote rounds at 3650 fps and with 95 grain vld Bergers exact same result always One Moa out. With the vlds got a 1/2 inch group 5 rounds with the 58 coyote loads 3/16 of an inch group

Set up a piece of bristol board with a vertical line scribed thick enuf to see thru the scope. Scribe hatch marks 1 inch apart along the line, maybe 15. Set your rifle on a sturdy rest and adjust the vertical knob. 5 mins should be 5" and so on. You can then tell what the actual adjustment is in the vertical mechanism of the scope. It may not be as indicated on the dial.

I'm going to try that and see what the adjustment is if we ever get a calm day here to go out and shoot also
