I stopped in at Ellwood Epps a couple weeks ago. My first time in the store. I was after a few small milsurp parts ,about $25.00 worth. At the gun counter I asked the salesman , he brought out boxes and we searched. He found them after some digging.
I didn`t feel rushed at all OR it wasn`t worth the sale. I have been in a lot of gun stores and I just have to say that was the most helpful of the lot. I can`t wait to go back
 
I have bought many firearms from them in the past and just recently, lots of odd ball milsurps that turn up there too for a good price. The shipping and wrapping is excellent as well.
 
Ive had nothing but great service there over the years, Ive bought parts for old old guns and they had them in boxes in the back room. Plus its a really interesting shop to wander around and look at all the neat stuff hanging there.
 
I bought a rifle from Ellwood Epps in the summer. They had a competitive price and the ship it out fast. I would deal with them again for sure.
 
A friend of mine needed a mag spring for a 1905 Ross and Epps sent me one for a 1910 model by accident. I returned it, no problems and the gunsmith there said they didn't have one but that he had some Ross parts at home and would check. He found one at his house and sent it to me for $10. I call that exceptional service.
 
It's a love in :) we need more shops around the country like them.. Every time I call for product info they are great to deal with even if I don't order something
 
Been shopping at Epps for 50 years. Used to ride my bicycle out there just to handle the guns. Back in those days they were all in rows of racks and even a kid could handle them anytime without any supervision. It was heaven.
 
I remember 30 years ago going with my father up to Epps. It was the place back then, its still the place now.

I find that my firearms money gets split about 50/50 between Epps and Flaherty's.

IMO, both outstanding retailers. Epps certainly gets the edge on used though!!
