EMTs common?

Hello,

Wasn’t exactly sure what group to post this in but hope I can get a reply on here. I’m looking at buying a rifle off this site and have been told that EMT’s are pretty common for buying and selling on here. I’ve only ever used collect on delivery from Canada Post so you know money is being transferred and product delivered. The guy I’m looking at buying off of has an excellent trader rating with no negative feedback. I’m still not so crazy about EMT’s, but if that’s the norm here I’d be willing to give it a shot.

Minus face to face meetings all my transactions have been EMT. Makes sure they have a good trader rating.

a good trader rating is a good sign that you wont get burnt but it still can happen.

I have used Canada Post money orders on several transactions on the EE. They cost about $8 plus postage. They can be redeemed at any bank for free and I have a paper copy (proof) of my transaction.

Emt is the normal, you will have a hard time getting anyone to sell with C O D

Other than FTF, every other deal ive had has been with EMT

Certified cheques and such are little too old for my blood. Have faith in trader ratings. But remember we all start at 0 sometime or another lol

EMT is fairly common. I have also paid with postal orders and personal cheque’s. Done a couple of local deals through CGN which cash was paid when we met. Only time I have been screwed around was by local deals that started on here.

I sold my first item on here Canada Post COD but quickly realized I was extremely limiting my sales potential.

All other transactions either sale or purchase have been by EMT and they have all been quick and painless transactions.

(FRAUD ALERT) has a anti gun policy, so I don't think you would be covered if it firearm related.

(FRAUD ALERT) has been known to freeze personal and small business accounts with little to no reasoning behind it. They also somehow have the ability to lock down your bank account if you've attached it. I always advise not to use (FRAUD ALERT) for anything. Forget it exists IMO.

I use EMT for everything, I use it to pay contactors, rent (when I had to) and buy toys!!!!! Love EMT

The one time I received a moneygram, no one had cash to cover it. It ended up being an EMT with added cost and layers.
