Last day at the cabin in northern AB.
Quite the end to another season hunting with my 2 sons.
My oldest son ran into to these tracks following in his brothers steps Thursday morning.
The bear followed him for over a mile right behind the cabin.
The younger son took this whitetail on the last morning.
Really proud of the 2 of them, Hard working ethical hunters who love the outdoors.
Very lucky to have 2 boys who love the outdoors as much as I do.
Thanks Cole and Garret.

The bear has been around the cabin for years, Must be his winter range as I see his tracks late in the fall and throughout the winter then he leaves early in the spring.
To date he has not did a lot of damage taken a few Beaver traps (with beaver)and tore apart my shooting range backstop.
We all carry 338's.

Almost looks like one of those non existent Grizzlies, especially given the timing.

Here's a Picture of the grizzly this spring behind the cabin.

Hey Suther
No we haven't had a Grizzly season for quite some time now.
They say we only have about 500 in the province. (Ya Right)
