Enduron IMR 4451 and 7977 Powders

Im running IMR4451 in my 6x47 Lapua with great results. It is taking really similiar charges to what people are loading with H4350 and getting damn near identical velocities. 39.7gr and 3030fps out of a 26" tube.

Very happy with this powder. NO copper fouling whatsoever, but that may also be a little to do with a good Benchmark barrel. Makes me want to try the 7977 in my 7LRM and 338 Improved.

I too have noticed that 7977 does indeed reduce fouling as stated. I fired exactly 100 shots in my 300 wby without cleaning and then cleaned with wipeout. There was very little copper fouling.

Going to try some 4451 in 30-06 as there was no 4350 in LGS. Sounds like this is working well, but it will be the last time I purchase from them guys at 52.99!! This will primarily be used for hunting, so I am hoping I can get this figured out fairly quickly as deer season is almost upon us.

using 7977 in my Rem 700 5R, 300 win mag with 165 Sierra HPBT, 81.2 gr it gives 3060 fps. Shoot consistently at under .5 MOA at 100yrds. Groups at 300 are about 1MOA, best is 0.6. Very little copper fouling. The velocity seems to be on the low side compared to what is published on the Hodgdon reloading website, but that doesn't really surprise me as I don't think I have ever created a load that approaches the velocities listed in any manual.

Does anyone know the "mechanism" used to reduce the copper fouling? I am slightly concerned that they put some sort of abraisive or other unkown Voodoo which will be messing with the barrel.
