Enfeild 22 Barrel ?

I don't know anything about military stuff and not even going to make it look like I do !.A guy I know has what is to be a nos barrel for an Enfeild in 22 cal.Any idea what it's worth ?.Don't know anything other than grease down the barrel,Mint ++ shape and chambered for 22,don't even know what # Enfeild it's for.I don't want to rip him or myself off so thats why I'm asking here !

Not much use unless you have a bad .22 enfield barrel. The bolt is obviously different and the barrel threads on a No1 and No 4 are different, PLUS there are several different .22 models built on the No4 action.
 
IF it is a barrel for a No. 7 rifle, it would have some value. There are receivers readily available for these, as well as other parts, like the boltheads, so a rifle could be assembled. I have an in-the-grease receiver salted away for such a project, and would snap up such a barrel at a reasonable price.
If it is for one of the SMLE based training rifles, it would also be useful.

Is it a Cno7 barrel? Does it have a front sight and ears on it? Pics of the markings?

Cno7 barrels are premium items.

As for SMLE .22 barrels...less so.
