Hello,

I am looking to purchase my first military revolver, and I have settled on a choice between the two mentioned in the subject bar.

- The Enfield No.2 Mk.I Service revolver in .38 Smith and Wesson

Can ammo be bought for it? Still available? Who makes it? Can it be easily reloaded? Power/recoil of the cartridge?

- Webley Mk. IV/VI in .455 Webley

I know only Fiocchi carries this ammo, and otherwise it needs to be reloaded, is reloading for this cartridge easy (finding bullets, brass, primers etc etc), how does it compare power wise to the .38/200 S&W?

Thanks, discuss discuss discuss!

Costly for factory 38 S&W ammo, easy to reload. Slight recoil and probably around 130-150 foot pounds energy. Factory Winchester 145 grain bullets are going about 630 feet per second. Ugly as f%%k and fun to shoot(speaking of the Enfield).:)
