Enfield No4 Gunsmith Near Calgary

Hey everybody, I was wondering if anybody knows a good gunsmith near Calgary that would specialize in Enfields, particularly No4's.

I need to find a spare barrel and have them cut it down to 18" and install it. I got a cool "tankerized" No4 on the forums with the barrel cut to 18" with the wood going all the way forward (not cut short), but the rifling is in pretty rough shape.

A fellow named Jack Wallace is the Calgary area Enfield expert. I'm not sure how to get ahold of him though. He's always at the area gun shows. Maybe try Proline and see if they can get you in touch with him.

Proline can get you in touch with Jack Wallace. I asked proline if they had any sight protector screws after I broke mine and they put me in touch with him!

ya she's a perfect camp gun. I had to mess around with front blades for a while to zero it in at 50 yrds with the ring battle sight. It's definitely not a 1000 yrd rifle anymore, but it'll hit consistently out to 300 or so. But the rifling for sure has seen better days.

I got it from the EE from a guy in NS who made 2 chopped up rifles into this little shorty
