I made a trade with apparently a very good friend of mine today
Lee enfield RF, I couldnt say no, not a lot of them around score!
Its in excelent condition well as an enfield can be, single shot model, at the range its nailing tennis balls at 50 yrds sitting! Wow can they shoot.
For history it was one of 6 at dresden high school in ontario, then it was given
to George Wortners gun shop and bought by my friend in 69, now me in 09.
Re barreld onto a Westley Richards, co 1905 Enfield surplus action and the barrel is marked J283, lots of other proofs too matching serial numbers the whole gun over.
So Im wondering do you have one too? Are there a lot of them around?
What are they worth? Not that i ever want to sell but its nice to know.
Is it the original forend? if not i would like to do the full wood.
Where do i buy a fiber optic front sight?
