In a recent Estate purchase I found a Brass 1" Rifle Scope. I believe it was for an Enfield...Stamped on brass Tube...Telescope Sighting 22C MK II And a broad arrow...R.E. L. CANADA. 1942. 9616C. On Ocular end it says eye end.Very clear, glass is perfect Horizontal hatch masks are marked R and L. There were a set of Steel 1" rings with it...appear very strong and old...What have I got here? It's the sight for a WW2 British or Canadian 6 Pounder anti-tank gun. They often come in a two part metal carrying 'can'.
 
Thanks Guys....the reason I thought it was Enfield it was with a couple SMLEs ! But the anti Tank Gun makes more sense.
