Enfield Strippers

Probably your best bet is gunshows and the EE here.

Be prepared to pay a rather hefty price for them, as AFAIK there's no new ones being made.

Maybe a decade ago I would drag them down to gunshows at $1 each, and they would just about sell out every time. So I bumped the price up to $2, and they would still sell out each show. So now I have them at $3, and they still sell very well, and in fact at the Calgary show, a dealer came up at the beginning of the show and took all that I had brought with me. I still charge $3 each for them because I can't, in good conscience, charge $4 for something that we used to just throw away. I still have a fair pile of them.

I suppose that when you consider that mags seem to start at around $50 these days, using the chargers make financial sense.

I got a bandolier and 10-15 old stock stripper clips off an Australian seller on eBay that seems to deal in enfield items. Just do a search they're not hard to find.

Liberty Tree in the US has a bunch in, at the moment, but they won't ship to Canada because they couldn't be bothered to cross reference ITAR and realize that they're fine for shipping to Canada. If you have a friend in the US who can order them for you and re-ship, it's an option.

Beyond that, there are the Aussies on eBay. I ordered a 10 pack and it worked out to $35 all in after shipping. It hasn't arrived yet, so not sure the condition/quality. He's advertising them as milsurp unissued, which is entirely possible, given how long the Enfield stayed in service down under.

I cannot vouch for him. Just ordered mine a few days ago and they haven't arrived yet. Not in a rush for them, because the rifle they're destined for, I haven't finished rebuilding yet, and probably won't get shot until the spring.

That's the same guy I bought a sling, bandolier and stripper clips from, good seller to deal with. Quick shipping and the items were exactly as described or pictured, ran 25 rounds through my Lithgow last time I had it out and the stripper clips worked great. I'd do business with the guy again.

Every time you patronise any seller on E-Bay, you give money to the people who want to take your firearms away from you. You might as well donate to Wendy Cukier's Gang of illegal lobbyists.
Try Epp's and Western Gun Parts. Marstar lists 'em($1.95 each), but are sold out. Your best bet, like shredder says, is a gun show.

I can vouch for that seller in Australia, he used to offer them in auction in 3x10 packs that worked out at about 0.75 cents each before shipping last time I got some (about 3 years ago) if nobody else bids on them, they are genuine NOS Australian military .303 Enfield stripper clips. Now he only seems to offer them as buy now which is not as good a deal.

Proof? I hear this come up but wonder if there's any sound reason behind such a re-hashed statement. I buy a bunch of stuff off e-bay, never once has any seller come knocking on my door trying to take my firearms away.

Don't bother waiting for an answer. It's Sunray. He pops into a thread, drops a steaming mound of retard, and moves on to the next thread to repeat the process.

Pretty disappointing. This thread isnt about what i hoped it was about.

Personally, I'd rather not see english strippers. Horrible teeth and pasty pale skin, I'd rather look at and fondle these. Which by the way are from the Aussie seller on ebay, old stock as far as I can tell. I lightly oiled them after I cleaned the packing grease off of them and they load smoothly.

I hear she's all the rage in Camden...

Ok, let's get down to brass tacks here; Stencollector, if you have some stripper clips for sale, PM me. I'd like some mauser, mosin nagant, and some more vs-52 ones too, if you have them. I would just as soon feed Canucks before Anzacs, no offense.
Cheers!
