holy CRAP my enfield no1 mk3 trigger has a lot of creep AND a tough pull, any ideas on how to eliminate this short of taking it to a gunsmith? I do a lot of my own gunsmithing, but if this is too complicated I'll leave it up to him.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Ryan

You can smooth up the sear contact point on the both cocking piece, the sear itself and the trigger humps, but get used to the creep. You can also try a different sear spring, but it won't make a ton of difference IMHO.....

You'll have to teach your finger to take it all up in one pull then you have a single pull left. To make it a bit better #### it with the saftey off push with all your might on the cocking piece as you pull the trigger. push in the direction on travel. do this a few or more times and you will notice some improvement. It will polish the sear surfaces and mate them a bit better.

ADJUSTING TRIGGER PULL

10. Adjusting Lenght. Before attempting to adjust the length of the trigger pulls, ensure that eh trigger guard is correctly installed and that the trigger guard screws are both assembled tightly. The length of the trigger pull is determined by the height of the trigger ribs. Reducing the height of the upper rib increases the length of the first pull. Reducing the height of the lower rib increases the length of the second pull. Ensure that the radius of the ribs is maintained.

So if the pull is allready long your buggered, check to see if the ribs look like they are wore off. Perhaps replacing the trigger is going to be your best option
