I have a sporterized enfield kicking around and im curious as to its value. It has 1944, No4Mk1, Made in England, Parker Hale and various numbers stamped on it. Stock is in fairly good condition, barrel is pretty good, bolt however is pitted.

Hi Mike
Do you have any pictures of the No 4? Parker hale would have been the company that converted it to a sporter. If you want to restore it a few details like barrel length and if the bayonet lugs are still there? What type of sights are on it? Type of stocks original but cut back or fancy replacemant sporter? You mention "barrel pitted" how bad, is it a 2 or 5 groove barrel?
Need that info to answer your question. Just a sporter cut back wood price around $75 to $125. Fancy stock, cut barrel with ramp front sight, drilled and tapped for scope mounts probably $200 to maybe $300. Just a guess on the second one.

Pictures will tell the story.

Like albayo said it could be a bubba wearing PH parts or a PH sporter, prices are about right, but condition of the bolt is going to drop the price. Is the Bolt matching ?

you may not get $200 even if its a PH sporter with PH wood if the bolt is in poor shape
