A friend and me took his no4 303 out and tried out some of his reloads. The 4895 loads produced a visible vapor trail in the cold weather, the blc2 and h335 didn't produce the same vapor trail. It was awesome to watch the bullet smoke away to the target. I stood back to the side and could see the arc the bullet took to the target 75 yards away. Has anyone else had this happen??

Not a enfield but a 22-250 with 55gr spsx bullet at over 3500fps (not my rifle or shot but another CGnutter)
For any one who is wondering...I am shooting 55 grain Hornady spsx"s at 3550 fps. They are made for the .223 round and not a 22-250. The vapour trail or smoke trail you see in the vids are the slugs actually starting to come apart and they want to vapourize....The vids were shot at 27 degree temps and any hotter the slugs wouldnt have even reached there targets...

Gopher number 2, in the slow mo you could actually see the vapour trail to the goppher.
