I love these little revolvers but they are pricey for ammo i.e. Remington's are 32.00/50 which is about the same cost as a box of 44 mag's. Can you say stupid, I knew that you could. I have been looking for a correct bullet mold for a year now and none are to be found. NEI has one that is the correct 200 grn round nose and size is .360 I believe. Well most of my .38 S&W revolvers would like at least a .361 or even .362 and if the bullet would drop at .362 you could still size it down to a .359 for most all other .38/.357 mag applications. I started hanging around the Cast Boolits web site and I have been in on a bunch of Lee 6 cavity group buys and they have been a god send so far. Please don't confuse the crappy 2 cavity's with the Lee 6 cavities which are far superior and cut your casting time way down. I always wanted a 44 mag. bullet that would drop at .432 and about 260-280 grn and there was a group buy on just such a mold and I have to say that my 629 and my redhawk/blackhawks love .431 sized bullets. So back to my Enfield problem and no such molds being available. I put forward and idea a couple of weeks ago and a few people have jumped on the band wagon to get a group buy going in a proper enfield/webley bullet that will be sized correctly and when you shoot you will actually be able to hit what you are shooting at instead of having to hold way high to compensate for the none adjustable sights due to the 158 grn bullet. The thread can be found here
http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=24762 if you would like to get in on the group buy when it starts. There are two professional bullet designers that do all the drawings with correct dimensions that can be sent into Lee to have them custom made and both these gentleman are second to none in bullet design and concept.

If you are into casting or just starting out lots of info can be found over there. So far I have .303 British group buy that makes the old girl sing and sized correctly to .314 instead of a small .312. A really nice Lyman 311041 clone that is a 6 banger and is a great shooting bullet in my M1, 30-06 bolt action and my 30-30's. I am in on another 311041 group buy and also a 230 grn .45 acp that duplicates the original round nose bullet and should cut down considerably on casting time. Lots of fun.

I bought a batch of .358 bullets that turned out to be inconsistently sized, some were .357 or .358 and some were .360 -.362, so I just used the larger ones for my .38 lend lease model 10 and the smaller in my .38 special.

Correct 200gn RN 38 S&W Enfield bullet mold/Heavy .357 Mag also.

The group buy is running now and they are also going to run a flat nose version of the same bullet. http://www.castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=24762

So those that would like a heavy .357 mag bullet with a flat point that you can correctly size to your revolver hear it is. Most of my revolvers love .360 which is a snug fit at the throats and one blackhawk that loves .361 . I think I will buy one of each , the round one for my enfield and my other .38 S&W's and the flat point for my cowboy action .357 and my revolvers. I love the idea of being slightly over sized because you can make this bullet fit, easier to size down than to have to beagle the mold to size up.
