Engraver

why cant I find anyone to do this for me ?? it is not rocket science.

Take it to one of your local trophy engraveing shops, it may raise a few eyebrows, but one of them should be willing to do it. Your best bet is one of the businesses run out of a home basement. Ft. St. John probably has such an establishment, the people in that town are pretty resourseful. bearhunter
 
What is that part made of for us non-AR familiar types? Some synthetics will engrave nicely on laser systems (any neat BW image is do-able). Alum. would need a more commonly available (trophy shop) rotary machine. They should have a Maple Leaf image available.

let me know if the gunnut wants some more engraving business. i have a couple of projects that need work too.
 
FWIW, get the engraving done BEFORE you finish the receiver into a firearm. Any engraver will engrave an inanimate paperweight that looks like a hunk of forged aluminum, most however do nto have the paperwork to care for restricted firearms on their premises.
