I picked up a 1981 Browning Citori Grade V. Its near mint. But the engraving has lost 30-40% of the black shading.
Questions for gunsmiths and DIYers out there.
What products can be used AND how are they used for re-colouring the engraving (shading)??
Does anyone have real experience and results restoring faded engraving shading??
(I found lots of chatter about using printer ink, blueing, engravers crayons sticks, acrylics)
