What on the lower end is acceptable for a spotting scope, and where could I find them storewise? I like online and whatnot but I also like to go in and toy with 'em with my hands and eyes. I went into London drugs today ready to look at them, and the sales jagoff behind the counter just looked right through me and was very rude when I was asking.

But it doesn't have to be TOO entry level, right now I just want to see my 100 yard target out on the firing line. Any suggestions?

go to CT and pick up a Celestron "mini mak" for $99. i have one and it works like a charm 30-90X it'll defintly work. other then that theres a winchester spotting scope in the EE section for $150 + shipping

I have the celestron ultima 80,and you can see bullet holes at 300 meters with it.They also make a 60 model.I have never tried the mini mak's but the ultimas are fantastic.
