Entry level thermal or night vision

Hey. I'm looking for a budget thermal or night vision scope. I'm not sure what would suite me better. I'll be putting it on a pcp air rifle for rat control. I have around $500 to spend. Any recommendations and advice is appreciated

You'd struggle at 3x your budget. If you are patient Holosun has a "budget" thermal reflex sight coming to Canada sooner or later. Should be around $2-2500.

Iirc, Holosun's ir version is around 1500, and a Sightmark Wraith is around 1000. I have a Wraith, can't remember what model at the moment.

At the 4x (lowest zoom) it's ok, but any more magnification I find it un-usable. The ir illuminator however is surprisingly good, with fresh batteries it works out to 250-300 yds.

EATS batteries though.

From what I've seen the ir version is 1500 CAD, thermal is more but I don't know if they are even available in Canada yet.

Ive been pleased with my arken zulus can be had without the rangefinder for under 1000

I got my site mark wraith hd. On sale just under 1000. Not to bad picture for the money
