EOSC IDPA Zombie Apocalypse Themed Fun Shoot 27 Oct

EOSC IDPA will be hosting our first Zombie Apocalypse themed fun shoot on Oct 27. The shoot will use most of the current IDPA rule book however you will be asked to do things that are not IDPA legal.

Registration will be done by email to Greg Kibble-Sartorelli (IDPA@eosc.ca). In the registration please include:
Name
IDPA Division (used solely for scoring)
IDPA Classification (used solely for scoring)

The match will consist of a minimum of 72 rounds. The match cost is $15.

This match is open to everyone. Max Registration is 40 shooters. Shooters without holster training will have provisions made for them.

There will also be a small Carbine/.22cal rifle match on 3 of the CoF after the main pistol match is completed. The cost for the carbine course will be $5

Safety Brief: 0930
Match Start: 1000
Rifle Match: After Pistol Match has finished.

We have decided to help out our IPSC brothers (and sisters) by creating a special division for this match so they can use their current gear. However Concealment garments are still required.

Someone has approached me with a question and I thought I would share it here:

What is happening for those who are non IDPA/IPSC qualified?

Those who are not qualified by IDPA or IPSC standards will not be drawing and firing from a holster, instead they will use the standard of low ready. They will also not be doing any turning (facing up range) and such. Movement will be done under CONTROLED conditions and the shooter will be adivised to take their time and move slowly. This is a FUN shoot, ment for the enjoyment, not a race.
