I have an aimpoint PRO, and my brother has an XPS2.
Believe me its like a 1911 Vs. Glock battle all the time.
Which I also have a 1911, AND he has a glock!!!
But back to optics...
I'll have to get him on this thread to sound off aswell, as I can not accurately sound off well for the XPS like he does.
The Aimpoint PRO has a superior battery life, being on a certain setting can be left on for 4 years!
The PRO is quite rugged, and water proof like the Eotech.
I like the option of mounts for the PRO that it can be for standard co-witness or take out the spacer to make it lower.
One neat feature of the PRO, is while the optic is idol on your rifle in your house. If the occasion calls for it you can pick it up, and lock and load. No pressing buttons on the optic. And you can still fire your weapon accurately with the scope covers on. The eyepiece protective lens is clear when closed, though obstructed. And the objective lens is blackened. BUT with both eyes open your right eye will focus on the dot, and your left eye the target.
The only complaint I have about the pro, is it is not supposed to be exported out of the united states. Which can make it tricky to purchase one, where the EOtech can be found at any dedicated shooting store.
When talking about viewing window, I don't mind them both, but the EOtech has a larger glass.
Its all about opinion, but who can be picky, they are both the best of the best, trusted by special forces soldiers in our country and our neighbours down south. For a good reason! Do your research and try to get your hands on both of them. But like i mentioned earlier it will be hard to get a PRO. I can take lots of pics of mine if you would like it.
But I had a hard time finding mine, every website I found said they couldn't ship the product outside of the united states, till I found one website that could and I snatched it up fearing they might not sell it in the future!
Ask away if you have any questions I may have not answered but blabbered on around the subject!
Hope it helped.
