EOtech EXPS2 with Troy backup sight

Hi guy.. first sorry for my english becuase i speak french....

I have a question for you... today i received my new EOtech EXPS2 for my Ruger SR22.... it's overkill but i like a quality product... lol

My Ruger SR22 come with a plastic Ruger backup sight.... look like a MBUS Magpul..... but i think my Ruger backup sight is shorter because my EOtech EXSP2 is a little high for the backup sight..... You understand ?

I want change my Ruger sight for a TROY backup Sight..... but i don't know if the TROY sight is good height for my EOtech ?

I also have a Eotech EXPS2 (EXPS2-2 actually) on my Colt 6920 and with my irons zeroed at 25yds and the Eotech zeroed at 50yds, the upper dot is above the front sight post. The EXPS2 (as opposed to the XPS2) is designed for a lower 1/3 co-witness, if I recall properly. Meaning that your irons won't totally co-witness (align) with the optic's dot in order to keep the reticle "less cluttered". Feel free to shoot me a pm if you want an explanation en francis. The E in EXPS2 means it sits higher than regular height sights. Perhaps you should get a XPS2 instead.
