probably just the lighting... I think that is a custom green AR by TROY industries with green MRF and flip-up sights.

I like the integrated ARMS flip mounts! looks very solid.

So when are they available to the general public?

That's exactly what I want in an AR optical sight:
a compact red-dot sight with built-in BDC (in the reticule) and optional magnification... one that won't cost 2500 $ US (i.e. the Schmitt & Bender short-dot that KevinB loves so much ... )

Well, that's the coolest thing I've seen today. I like the dual Arms throw levers.

Is the magnifier compatible with just the 553, or other models as well?

I've heard the 553 only as the holosight technology needed to be improved for the magnification. But what do I know?
