looks cool but not $600 cool, i got to ask what makes a red dot site so expensive? i understand scope prices but a simple reddot should be 100-200 if that imo

It's a military grade holographic sight, plus it comes with a unique zombie stopper reticle, which means they really are only selling these to the civilian market as no law enforcement would buy these, therefore less are produced and the price is driven up.
 
Google reviews on any of the $100 red dots.
They are only any good for airsoft and pellet guns.
Anything above a .22 will trash a $100 sight with the recoil.

Guess you never heard of Eotech then. Or a quality optic. There were actually times when things were not made in China. You get what you pay for.

I had a EO TECH on my C-7 in Afghanistan for 9 months and my rifle took a beating from getting smashed of mud walls thrown in a out of LAVs ect ect and it held a zero the whole time. I bought a Bushnell Trophy 1x25mm Red Dot Scope for about 100 $ and put it on a 887 tactical after a few 3 1/2 shells I lose zero. That is why they are 600$ and they are worth every penny.
 
Only thing that back me off from getting Eotech is because of their warrenty compare to aimpoint. It's like 2 years vs lifetime. For zombie sake, i will grab another one for sure.

I called and reserved one last week. They can't say when they come apparently it's just a random shipment and what they get is what they get, I guess EOtech just sends us the leftovers lol. When I called there was only a couple on the list for the zombie stopper so if you call you should get one off the next shipment, personally I'm giving it 4 weeks then I'll just buy one that they have in stock.
